It really has been a long time since I’ve written anything. Well, not really, I actually wrote something about a week ago but since it was on my iPhone, after I exited the app to turn on “airplane mode,” the text erased. The feeling after a piece of writing disappears is so empty and bare. It’s not a nice feeling at all. It’s sort of like being taken on a long 8 hour drive to Disneyland, only to be told it had all been destroyed in an earthquake the night before. Empty and dissatisfied.
Well, anyway, I’ve gotten married since that last written post on January 17th. In fact, I’ve been married for over a week now! It’s a little funny walking around with the same sort of men staring at me, especially because they still don’t seem to notice. This, of course, causes me to vigorously rub my face with my left hand. Perhaps then they should notice the glimmering blue and white stones on my blood finger.
Yes, I did just call it a blood finger. Do you know why? Well, long, long ago the ancient Romans believed that it was this particular finger that held the vein directly leading to the heart.

So everybody has been asking me about the wedding and how it went. I mean, of course they’re asking, why shouldn’t they? You see, all in all I thought it was fabulous. The beginning was a little odd because of the absolute disarray my assigned “helpers,” left the place in. The seating was wrong, the tables were wrong, decorations incomplete, people didn’t know what they were supposed to be doing, and the pianist took a pause at an odd moment.
Other than those disappointments, the night went well. I had myself a good amount of bubbly without feeling sick, a few groovy dances, and a sense of high glamour with the fur wrapped around my neckline. On this I shall elaborate later. It is now time for sleep.

On another quick note, I have been having a crazy addiction to online shopping lately. I am now an official subscriber to Michele Phan’s MyGlam, Aveda samples, Refinery 29 (which is the best beauty and fashion blog ever!), Allure magazine, Details magazine, a Sephora points member, and Asos. Ahhh!
